Problem

TelePACE crashes when using Windows Vista Home. Even though Windows Vista Home is not supported by Control Microsystems (Windows Compatibility Chart), a possible solution has been found to run TelePACE in this operating environment. This has not been tested by Control Microsystems.

Environment

• Windows Vista Home
• TelePACE 3.30

Fix

Set telepace.exe, tple.exe, and dnpserver.exe to compatability mode of XP SP2. Run telepace.exe followed by tple.exe. If telepace.exe is not run first then the PC Communications window will not open and the program will crash when attempting to close.

The user could make a simple batch file to run in order and relink the shortcut to the batch file.
