This Technical Support Notice applies to RealFLO Flow Computer version 5.15 only. This version has been available since January 23, 2004.

Issue Description

The RealFLO flow computer automatically logs the daily flow totals, and starts a new contract day, at the contract hour.
The issue in version 5.15 of the flow computer is that the new contract day is actually started one hour after the user entered contract hour. For example if the user enters a contract hour of 08:00, the daily flow totals will be saved and a new contract day will start at 09:00 instead of 08:00. A new contract day will be started at 09:00 each day there after. This behavior occurs regardless of the contract hour entered, the flow computer will use the entered hour plus one hour.
It is important to note that at no time is flow data lost. All daily flow totals continue to be logged, and new contract days are started at one hour after the entered contract hour.

Work Around

The work around for this issue is to set the contract hour in flow computers using RealFLO flow computer version 5.15 for one hour less than the required contract hour. For example if a contract day is to begin at 08:00, enter a contract hour of 07:00 on the contract configuration tab in RealFLO.

Issue Resolution

RealFLO flow computer version 5.16 will correct this issue. The expected release date for flow computer version 5.16 is March 19, 2004.
