ClearSCADA

As part of our on-going product enhancement program, we have announced the release of ClearSCADA 2010 R2.1, a service pack for ClearSCADA 2010 R2 providing feature enhancements and improvements to existing functionality. It is recommended that all users of ClearSCADA 2010 R2 install this build.

Product Changes

This release of ClearSCADA contains a number of product enhancements, including:

  • Improved processing of replies to E-Mail redirections
  • Improved support for SMS messages sent across carriers
  • Configurable settings for trace line width of new traces
  • New function added to client-side scripting to navigate to a document on another head
  • New command line option added to configure ViewX registry settings
  • Extended use of Dictionary file translations to custom menus, tooltips, extra alarm columns etc.

Licenses

Customers with licenses for ClearSCADA 2010 R2 do not require an updated license file to run ClearSCADA 2010 R2.1. Customers with licenses for ClearSCADA versions prior to 2010 R2 who wish to upgrade to ClearSCADA 2010 R2.1 will need to update both their client and server license(s).

Note: License updates are free of charge with a valid SCADACare support agreement with Control Microsystems.

    Hello All,

    I need help regarding to import the *.sde file in my ViewX application.

    I am using the ClearSCADA 2010 R2 software in demo mode. I have *.sde file sized of 14.0 MB which I need to import. When I try to import it, I get the below error.

    The 'Import Configuration' operation has failed.

    The database's maximum object limit of 1000 objects would be exceeded by 4247 object(s).

    Is there anybody help me out to resolve this issue.

      You are trying to import a ClearSCADA project that is bigger than what is supported in the demo project.

        Right now I have a software license which have to ordered according to my machine code. But now I am facing different issue.

        I have attached license file as per procedure. When I start the sever & try to open the ViewX application I am getting below error-

        "ClearSCADA ViewX user Interface has encountered  a problem and needs to close. we are sorry for the inconvenience.....

        and it shutdown the window.

        If Anybody faced this issue before please suggest the solution.
