ClearSCADA

As part of our ongoing product enhancement program, Control Microsystems has announced the release of ClearSCADA 2009 R2.2, a service pack for ClearSCADA 2009 R2 providing feature enhancements and improvements to existing functionality. It is recommended that all users of ClearSCADA 2009 R2 install this build.

Product Changes

This release of ClearSCADA contains a number of product enhancements, including:

  • Support for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2
  • Support for Internet Explorer 8
  • Significantly improved response in ViewX to network problems
  • Kingfisher outstation configurable poll rates
  • Improvements in ViewX to server protocol to improve support for unreliable networks

Licenses

Customers with licenses for ClearSCADA 2009 R2 do not require an updated license file to run ClearSCADA 2009 R2.2. Customers with licenses for ClearSCADA versions prior to 2009 R2 who wish to upgrade to ClearSCADA 2009 R2.2 will need to update both their client and server license(s).

Note: License updates are free of charge with a valid SCADACare support agreement with Control Microsystems.
