Please read the information below prior to upgrading to ClearSCADA 2007 R0.2 for important information on changes in this version.

Upgrading from ClearSCADA 2005

  • ClearSCADA 2007 uses a different license format to that of ClearSCADA 2005. If you are upgrading from
    ClearSCADA 2005, you will require a new license to be issued. ClearSCADA 2005 licenses will not validate
    against ClearSCADA 2007. Customers holding a valid support agreement with Control Microsystems are entitled
    to a license upgrade free of charge.
  • All user accounts with passwords that are longer than 16 characters will no longer allow the user to log
    on. The passwords on these accounts will need to be reset. User accounts with passwords that are 16
    characters or less are not affected by this change.
